Rental Pricing and Amenities

The Hippodrome Theatre, located in the heart of downtown Gainesville, is the premiere location to hold your upcoming event. The Hippodrome is within walking distance of great restaurants, nightlife, and one of the area’s top rated hotels. The city parking garage is less than a block away.

HIPPODROME EVENT SPACES AND RENTAL RATES

THE LOWER LEVEL- The basement space has a separate entrance, catering prep room, full bar, indirect lighting, and is a/v equipped. Table and chair inventory is all inclusive in hourly rate.

*Ideal for wedding receptions, private parties, and corporate events.

THE CINEMA- The cinema is accessed through the main lobby and bar, has fixed stadium seating for 77, and a stage area that can accommodate podiums, table and chairs. The cinema is equipped with a theatrical lighting system and has full a/v capabilities. Table and chair inventory is all inclusive in hourly rate. * Limited availability. An additional $250.00 buyout fee per film may apply if event requires cancellation or rescheduling of Hippodrome Cinema films.

 Support Staff and Services

 House Manager- All rentals have an assigned house manager included in the hourly rate.  Events exceeding 100

 attendees require an additional house manager at a rate of $30/hr.

 Bartender- Bar service staff is included in the hourly rate when bar package is selected. Events exceeding 100

 attendees require an additional bartender at a rate of $30/hr. Gratuities of 18% are added to all prepaid bar

 packages.

 Projectionist- Cinema rentals requiring projectionist are billed at $50/hr.
