Karongwe Private Game Reserve, overlooks the majestic Drakensberg mountain range in the Limpopo Province and is set apart from similar properties by the extraordinary lengths we are willing to go to in order to ensure that your stay with us is a memorable experience. The Karongwe Portfolio boasts the choice of 5 different lodges on one Private Game Reserve, which suits the needs of different individuals.

1.      Becks Safari Lodge – 5 Star – 11 x Deluxe Safari Suites – Maximum 22 guests

2.      Shiduli Lodge – 4 Star – 24 x Luxury & Inter-leading Suites AND 1 x Royal Suite – Maximum 52 guests

3.      Kuname Lodge – 5 Star – 4 x Luxury Suites, 1 x Premier Suite & 1 x Manor House – Maximum 16 guests

4.      Karongwe River Lodge – 4 Star – 5 x Luxury Suites, 2 x Family Suites, 2 x Executive Suites & 2 x Presidential Suites – Maximum 32 guests

5.      Chisomo Safari Camp – 4 Star – 22 x Tented Suites – Maximum 44 guests

Please be advised that, we generally only do weddings in the months of May/June/July (Low Season) dependent on availability; as we very rarely have any availability during our High Seasons for wedding block-outs. However, there are quite a few gaps open during the rest of the year as well. In saying that, Bridal Couples must reserve an entire Lodge/s for their exclusive use. Please also be advised that we do not accommodate for day weddings and we require at least 80% of the wedding party to be accommodated by our lodges for a minimum of 2 nights.

A 2 night stay is the minimum for Weddings as per our Policy - as from past experience with a 1 night stay, there is not enough time from Check-in to Check-out to have a wedding in between. Therefore, with a 2 night stay, all guests can arrive at their leisure - have a game drive on the afternoon of their arrival - have a decent nights rest - attend the wedding the following day and not have to drive - sleep over on the night of the wedding - and depart after breakfast and game drive thereafter.
