5 Things You Should Never Overlook When Planning a Wedding
Wedding planning can be incredibly convoluted, complicated and time-consuming. As such, it’s often easy to miss out some of the most basic and obvious elements when planning, so in this article, we’re going to talk about five of the most common things to neglect when planning a wedding.
1. Dietary requirements
Nowadays, more and more people are switching to specific diets and caterers are more than happy to provide options for these diets. Make sure you communicate with your guests and relay that information to caterers in order to provide for all of your guests.
2. Make sure your wedding photographer is in-the-know
Whether it’s telling them who your family members are or the friends that are a high priority for photographs, make sure you communicate with your wedding photographer so they don’t end up with a hundred shots of people you barely know.
3. Arranging transportation
This is especially important if the venue is quite far from public transportation. Make sure your guests have arranged transportation and ensure that your own wedding vehicle is booked.
4. Planning times to eat during the wedding
Even if you’re looking forward to the big wedding dinner or lunch, make sure you snack and hydrate yourself throughout the day at planned times to ensure you’re not running on fumes.
5. The cost of flowers
While not the most expensive thing, it’s easy to spend upwards of a thousand dollars or more on flower arrangements so make sure you include it in your budget. We’ve added an infographic below that can help you choose some of the most beautiful flowers and understand how much you can expect to pay.
