Bridal Eyelash Extensions

As a Certified Lash Artist In Las Vegas, NV and also a National Trainer for Artistic Lash Group, I get eyelash extension questions every day. Here are a few things to keep in mind when looking for the perfect place to do your eyelash extensions:

-They should be certified by a reputable company
-They should ONLY use single strand eyelash extensions
-If they use flairs, clusters, or strips run for the door!
-they should only use Pro Grade or pharmaceutical grade adhesive
-They should bond a single strand extension on top of everyone of your natural lashes.  (If they skimp or try to charge extra find a new Lash Artist!) Ask to see previous work done by the Artist, NOT promotional photos. You really want to get a good look at the work they do.

Strip Lashes and flair lashes can be great for single day use only. I see many eyelash extensionists use flairs and cluster with Pro Grade Adhesive; it’s a lazy way of doing extensions. It WILL cause damage to your natural lashes and can be very uncomfortable and unnatural looking. These type of false lashes are sold in local beauty shops or drugstores and should only be applied with the glue they come with. Again they are only meant to be worn for a day and peel off easily.

Single strand eyelash extensions are bonded directly on top of each individual natural lash giving you a flawless look for your wedding! Eyelash Extensions are waterproof, oil proof, last several weeks, lengthen and thicken lashes, and no mascara is needed!

You should NEVER get extensions applied the day before or of your wedding. I always recommend 3 days before just in case you hate them, have an allergic reaction or the Lash Artist did not do what she promised. 3 days should be plenty of time to make any corrections.

The average cost for properly applied eyelash extensions ranges from $150-300 for a full set.  If you see a sign in your local nail shop for $75 just keep in mind YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! A seasoned Lash Artist can take 1-1.5 hrs to complete a full set depending on amount of natural lashes.  A less experienced Artists can take 1.5- 2.5 hrs to complete a full set.

Lash extensions can be fun, flirty and a bit sexy if they are done with precision and care. Improperly applied they can be a nightmare for the bride. Choose wisely and happy lashing!!
